In our work with St. Anthony’s Church, we focused mainly on upgrading the space with a kitchen fit out that would be used when the church hall is hired for functions. As the church hall is frequently hired by private groups for their own events, offering them a functioning kitchen space is an attractive feature, since organisers can use it to cater to their event guests.
As part of the project, HWD had to upgrade both the kitchen and its equipment. The client wanted us to develop a modern look for the kitchen while also making it a functional space that allowed for an easy flow of people, an essential requirement in any busy kitchen. Ensuring ample working space in the kitchen for the caterers to work efficiently was a top priority, hence we worked towards finding a balance between space for equipment and people.
In addition to carrying out complete refurbishment in the kitchen, we also fitted out a range of new equipment. This included benches, stainless steel wall panels, dishwasher and a grease trap. We also installed new ceiling and flooring for this space, which helped enhance its appearance and create a modern-looking environment. All the work was carried out as per the schedule, with consistent communication with the client to update them about the progress and clear any doubts.
