Nagambie Brewery and Distillery is a lakeside restaurant and bar at Nagambie, that specialises in in-house Craft beer and woodfire pizza.

Customers will not only be impressed with the food and drinks, but also the sleek and modern interior. The space also features floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing unobstructed view of Lake Nagambie.

Nagambie Brewery and Distillery is focused on creating beer and spirits with as many local ingredients as possible. They also hope to be able to minimise their carbon footprint, and to reuse and recycle as much as they can.

In this project, HWD was tasked with end to end customisation of the property. We were asked for equipment specification, services schedule, custom made stainless steel benching, exhaust canopy, and cooking equipment.

The work also included fitout for the cool room and freezer room, as well as the large keg room.

We provided a custom turnkey solution, and we installed exhaust, refrigeration, equipment as well as custom made benching for two X Bars and one main kitchen.

One of the main challenges in this project was time. There was a very short project turn around time, which meant that our schedule was very tight. However, HWD is always committed to helping our clients meet their deadlines, so we did all we could to ensure that everything was meticulously planned and efficiently carried out.

The other challenge was location, as Nagambie is located about two hours away from our office in Melbourne. That did not deter us though. Our clients are our priority, and our team at HWD would not think twice about going out of our way to have a job properly done.

Despite the difficulties, we are happy that everything had turned out well, making this another successful partnership.
