Just Italy is an artisan food and wine store in Oakleigh that is popular for its authentic Italian pasta and pizza. With its first restaurant well established on Atherton Road, Just Italy decided to open its second outlet at Dandenong Road, Oakleigh East.

For this new and exciting project, Just Italy engaged HWD for a complete kitchen and bar fitout.

One of the special requirements for this project was to have two kitchens – as pizza is such a big part of Just Italy, they wanted one kitchen specifically for pizza making. The client also requested for an Italian pizza oven to be included in this kitchen.

We installed the KSS Pipe Wall Shelves in various sizes for the kitchens. Extremely sturdy and durable, these stainless steel wall shelves are manufactured using 304 grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and durability. The shelves also feature 25mm round stainless steel pipes with welded end caps. All KSS products have stainless steel tops, stainless steel shelves, and stainless steel brackets, making them an ideal solution for commercial kitchens and food premises.

We also used the KSS 450mm Bench with Shelf Underneath and Splashback. This stainless steel kitchen bench comes standard with an undershelf for storage. The 304 grade full stainless steel top with 2mm galvanised carbon steel reinforcement and 38mm satin polished round stainless steel legs give these benches the durability and rigidity under high stress. These benches feature splashbacks, and ideally make for benches that can be rested against walls.

It was overall a smooth project, and we are very happy to be able to be part of another happy client’s expansion journey.
