Case study: Bonbons Bakery

Bonbons is a retail brand with locations across Victoria, known for its cakes, freshly baked goods and coffee. The venue also offers a range of grab-and-go style snacks, meals, hot and cold beverages, making it a popular spot for people interested a quick, inexpensive meal. In this project, HWD worked with the brand’s franchise location in Point Cook, Melbourne.

Cakes and other perishable goods need to be temperature controlled to ensure they are fit for consumption. Our work with Bonbons primarily focused on providing refrigeration products, which would also assist storage and display simultaneously, resulting in an efficient use of space and other resources. We supplied and installed 2 cake display fridges, an upright storage freezer, an upright storage fridge, and 2 under fridges.

 

This was a smooth-sailing project for HWD, with all installations going as planned. Bearing in mind the client’s specific requirements, we installed the Mitchel Refrigeration stainless steel four-half door refrigerator, Mitchel Refrigeration stainless steel two door freezer, Mitchel Refrigeration 3 door under-counter refrigerator, and the Mitchel Refrigeration 1200mm straight glass cold display.
